کوروش بزرگ یک پادشاه ایرانی بود. او حدود ۲۵۰۰ سال پیش زندگی می‌کرد. کوروش پادشاه پارس بود. او یکی از پادشاهان هخامنشی بود.
کوروش شهرها و سرزمین‌های زیادی را گرفت. او یک امپراتوری بزرگ ساخت. در سال ۵۳۹ پیش از میلاد، او به شهر بابل رفت. بابل یک شهر مهم بود.
در بابل، مردم دین‌ها و رسم‌های مختلف داشتند. کوروش به آن‌ها احترام گذاشت. بعضی از مردم به شهرهای خود برگشتند.
کوروش حدود سال ۵۳۰ پیش از میلاد مرد. آرامگاه او در پاسارگاد است. پاسارگاد در استان فارس است. امروز مردم زیادی از آرامگاه کوروش دیدن می‌کنند.

Kurosh shahrhâ va sarzaminhâ-ye ziâdi râ gereft. U yek emperâturi-ye bozorg sâkht. Dar sâl-e 539 pish az milâd, u be shahr-e Bâbel raft. Bâbel yek shahr-e mohem bud.
Dar Bâbel, mardom dinhâ va rasmhâ-ye mokhtalef dâshtand. Kurosh be ânhâ ehterâm gozâsht. Ba'zi az mardom be shahrhâ-ye khod bargashtand.
Kurosh hodud-e sâl-e 530 pish az milâd mord. Ârâmgâh-e u dar Pâsârgâd ast. Pâsârgâd dar ostân-e Fârs ast. Emruz mardom-e ziâdi az ârâmgâh-e Kurosh didan mikonand.

Cyrus took many cities and lands. He built a large empire. In 539 BCE, he went to the city of Babylon. Babylon was an important city.
In Babylon, people had different religions and customs. Cyrus respected them. Some people returned to their own cities.
Cyrus died around 530 BCE. His tomb is in Pasargadae. Pasargadae is in Fars Province. Today, many people visit the tomb of Cyrus.
